Sustainability is an increasingly critical focus in global energy strategies as nations strive to reduce their carbon footprints and mitigate climate change. One innovative approach to achieving sustainability is the utilization of agricultural waste as an alternative to non renewable sources. As a leading producer of Synthetic Iron Oxides in India, we continually thrive on making our products and processes climate neutral. Since 2020, we have begun using Agricultural Waste as Feedstock for our Utility requirements. Using the Agricultural leftover as fuel not only addresses waste management issues but also provides a renewable energy source that significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
Solar power
Another promising and effective solution for mitigating escalating climate change and environmental degradation is the transition to sustainable energy sources, particularly in industrial settings. Factories, with their high energy demands and substantial carbon footprints, significantly contribute to these issues. As a pioneer in the industry, we have transitioned our major energy requirements to solar energy by installing a 4.0 Mega Watt solar power plant to meet the energy needs of both our factories. Embracing this renewable energy source ensures a drastic reduction in emissions during our operations, significantly lowering our factories’ carbon footprint. Harnessing the sun’s energy for our operations also helps us comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
